The future of collaboration and learning seems to be full of screenshots of miro / mural / funretro sticky note boards. I don’t know whether to be excited about that or dismayed by it.

In a meetup today, I was reminded somehow of this old German folktale of The Fisherman and His Wife (https://lnkd.in/gpwKUaS). Taking this tale and applying it as a lens on coaching and agile transformations, what do you see? Maybe that would be worth a long blog post (or as we maybe used to call them “an essay”)?

I already put this on Twitter, but why not here as well: Hey Netflix, why not create a prominent section on your landing page called “Exploring Systemic Racism in the US”? Do you have licensed material for such a thing?

It’s here! Thank you Ilana Ben-Ari for creating this. I really appreciate the thoughtful, functional, limited packaging. #empathy #empathytoy #failuretoy #21toys #twentyonetoys

So, dear agilists smarter than me – we know agile transformations are hard. Can we take what we know from that and apply it to transform society? Asking for a country in dire need of help.

And to be completely honest, I’m lost. I have no idea.

Hiring companies: Look, I get that it’s frustrating to be looking for people to help you with growing agility in your software development efforts and business in general. But what I see happening right now probably isn’t helping you. I see the same job descriptions in listings on LinkedIn from at least two or three agencies, and not just for one position. It makes it look as if there are more jobs out there than is the case. And it makes it very confusing for people who want to help you by applying for the openings. I’ve heard that, normally, hiring managers reach out to their network first to find potential candidates. I’m not sure if that’s happening now, with the hair-on-fire Covid-19 situation, but it sure doesn’t seem like it. I consider myself fairly well connected, and I’m on the market. Please take a look at my profile and especially my recommendations if you’re looking for an agile coach. I’m sure I can help you.
