How is it that we spend all of our actual life in “the present”, when “the present” instantly disappears all the time? There is no past without memory. There is no future without imagination. To live fully in “the present” you might do well to let go of memory and imagination. Or not. How do *you* live in “the present”?

Agile: collaborate/pair/mob, work in small vertical slices integrating at least daily, get real feedback often, pause to reflect & improve without undue delay. Only one of these is reliant on technical skills.

7 years ago today, I arrived at the retrospective facilitators gathering at a small independent inn on the shores of Lake Tahoe. I did not know what a profound impact that gathering would have on my future.
